And that's about as optimistic as I can get about it at this point.

In a surprize, I think the Eagles offense wakes up this week.  I'm still not sold on the Cleveland D-line.  The Eagles run the ball early and it finally gets effective in the 2nd quarter.   Eagles get an early lead and stick with the run.   LJ Smith has a big day too, as does the defense.  They shut down LT, I'm confident the Denver backs can also be stopped.

Point is....Eagles 27, Broncos 17.  Dont forget the Broncos lost to Miami and the Elisha's, beat SD with a last second FG, and only beat Washington by 2...

one thing that does bode well for the eagles is that the broncos are last in the nfl in sacks

Besides the cleveland d-line note, I agree, or maybe I've had too much Green kool aid today, driving around listening to the fight song over and over will do that to you.  :paranoid Go Eagles 24 - 17 :yay

meaningless...you can come up with infinite scenarios to support your team this way...if i were a bronco fan for example:

broncos beat taterskins...taterskins beat dallas...dallas waxed eagles

An ad hominem fallacy consists of asserting that someone's argument is wrong and/or he is wrong to argue at all purely because of something discreditable/not-authoritative about the person or those persons cited by him rather than addressing the soundness of the argument itself.

I predict that I'll be drunk and playing cards during the game. High-fiving the 18-year old college dropout dealer in the card club who is also an Eagles fan. Word.

I want to believe it'll be a 14+ point Eagles win but until I see some consistency from both sides of the ball, my heart won't be making the prediction.

You know 3 of Kearse's sacks of  his 7.5 from last year were in a single game against the Broncos. I expect a similar outting  :evilYou know Jevon Kearse got 3 sacks against the Lions in a single game last year? </random Jevon Kearse fact>
