OK, so for real. What are we looking at this week? Is this the same old Broncos team that is tough at home but completely beatable? A ten win team with no shot in the playoffs? Or are they more legit this year? I've onyl seen them in two games this year (vs. the Pats and vs. the Giants) and in both they looked like two completely different teams in the first and second half. Somebody give me some insight because frankly I've got none.

their defense is for real...i dont see the birds moving the ball at all on them...but they do have jake plummer who is a complete bum and if they can force him into some of his patented bonehead turnovers they could pull this out...i dont see it though

calling the wrong play because you dont realize the time/timeout situation falls under the heading of bad clock management

And that's just one of the more egregious examples of bad clock management.  Donovan regularly doesn't get the play until so late that he's got no more than 4-5 seconds at the line before the snap.  How many times have we seen him call premature time-outs because he doesn't have time to make adjustments to the D?  Or because the line isn't set?  That's bad coaching, pure and simple, and it's galling.

I have to admit that the San Diego win was a complete fluke. How many times does a team block a FG, let alone block a FG with 10 men on the field AND return it for a TD?

The KC game was an exciting win but it took a ridiculous game from McNabb to barely pull it out.

In other words IGY may be 0-2, but his general points were correct. Those teams were in position to beat the Eagles soundly and didn't finish the job.

Lousy clock management or not, this team has won games like this regularly during the past five seasons, and that's the mark of a winning team and a winning head coach.

I'm not arguing with that point. Obviously winners find ways to win. Losers find ways to lose. I'm merely pointing out that IGY thinking those games would be losses isn't something that should be held against him.

His outrageous claims and other assorted nonsense should be held against him, but not his thought that the Eagles would lose those two games.

#1 i never said they had no chance of winning...i said that i thought both would be losses...kc i was dead wrong i dont care what kind of lead they had the eagles beat them...sd as rjs said lost a game in a way that no team in the history of the elague has lost...a 4th quarter game winning blocked fg td has NEVER happened

#3 nor am i saying they cant beat denver...but i believe they only win if jake implodes...if he doesnt i dont see the eagles getting more than 10 pts

#3 i picked the eagles vs dallas...perhaps my picks suck in general but to single out those two games (sd &kc) as if i always pick against the eagles just because....is wrong
