It is utterly amazing that they totally and completely SHUT DOWN LT!!  That deserves a ton of accolades.  He is the best of the best and he was stopped cold.  WOW!!

I agree, no defense has done that, not one, ever. I had said the D needed to prove something after the Dallas game, and they did, and then some.

Doesn't that make twice that they have shut down LT in his career?  Both times they faced him, he's been crushed.

Is it? I somewhat vaguely remember containing him the last time we played them, but nothing like the complete non factor he was today.

mcnabb stinking it up can be attributed to his injuries. face it last yr with the same offense he was on fire.

even at this rate he is servicable but we need to balance the running n the passing....i know its been said a million times but i seriously dont get it...u have a injured qb so u make him throw more than any other qb in the history of the team?

yeah the running game doesnt work every play and u might get 1-2 yd gains but u gotta stick with it.

mcnabb went on a nice streak of 23 some straight completions but most of that was short stuff.....how many deep balls have we completed this season? i wonder how badly he is hurting cause we didnt even attemtp deep balls today. maybe if we could suck up the safeties a lil with a threat at running the ball we could open it up downfield.

I was able to capture the 4th quarter on the radio while running from the hurricane.  That was a freaking awesome way to win the game- I think that I scared the crap out of my kid when I screamed in the car.

Seeing the replay later was the icing on the cake.

And since I left my house before the comeback, I got to read all of the posts from the Tomlinson stuff on the goalline to the end.  Funny stuff, in light of the comeback and Eagles win.  :-D

That said, Reid HAS to run more, period.  Or he'll get McNabb killed by the end of the season. And there will be no Super Bowl.

ice grillin you

We wanted to take a moment to follow up with you regarding the alarm system that exists within Lincoln Financial Field.

During the fourth quarter of the Chargers game, a fire alarm was triggered.  The alarm that was activated was a false alarm.  Nevertheless, the security system was activated and the pre-programmed alarms and announcements were initiated.

Please know that had this been an actual emergency there would be no ambiguity as to whether or not you should evacuate the building.  The communications of any evacuation-level emergency would be made over the entire communications system, including the "Eaglevision" boards, LED boards, and the public address system.  All levels of staffing, including guest services staff and CSC security in each section of the stadium, would have directed you to the nearest exit.

It is important to note that prior to every event at Lincoln Financial Field we show a comprehensive safety video that includes evacuation instruction and direction.  We urge you to take a moment to observe the video and locate the nearest exit to your seating area prior to the event.

Your safety and enjoyment are our ultimate concerns.

Sincerely,

Scott Jenkins

As if half the fans getting this letter even know what ambiguity means.  :-D  They need to speak in 700 level terminology.

make sure you note the nearest exit to your seats...because as we know everyone takes the longest possible route when leaving each week

My personal favorites are the idiots who sit on one side of a row....like seat 24 or something....but when they leave to go to the bathroom or to get food during the game, they walk the LONG way and make the WHOLE row get up for them...instead of just going up or down closer to their seat.
