He's not at all a lock, but he has a decent chance. Allen is up for enshrinement starting in 2007.

Assuming both senior nominees get in, only four of these five will be inducted in 2006: Reggie White, Troy Aikman, Warren Moon, Thurman Thomas, and Andre Reed. The only that doesn't make it in 2006 (hint: it won't be Reggie) will be a lock for 2007. 2007 might be the year they let Michael Irvin in too. Bruce Matthews becomes eligible in 2007 and he seems like a first-year kinda guy. So right there are three 2007 picks likely to go before Allen.

Also eligible in 2007 are Randall, Terrell Davis, and Ricky Watters ().

I remember watching that game at some small bar and when Randall got hurt some guy said it was a good for the Eagles.I said he was nuts but they ended coming from way back.Glad to be wrong.

I remember watching something on either NFL Network or ESPN where they highlighted the top 10 greatest INT's in NFL history.  I'll give you 3 guesses who was #1 but I'll bet you won't need 2 of them.

Allen was the third-best corner of the 90's. I hope he doesn't have to wait that long, but I would guess that the other two will enter the Hall before him.

Anyway, I love the '91 defense. It was incredible having all those defensive weapons on the same team. In my opinion it was the greatest defense of all time and deserves recognition as such.

Hey guys!

I was just looking over your message boards to see what everyone had to say about the charger game coming up. I'm usually more of an observer, even on GTP and the other charger boards because I never really feel like I have a whole lot to add to any of the discussions and don't want to always be the total homer.

Anyways, I was scanning the posts and i found this one which intrigued me because I met Eric Allen on multiple occasions and really like the guy. First off, he went to my high school (I am still in high school) Point Loma High School in San Diego, and last year came to our homecoming game to donate a bunch of scholarship money to our athletic department. I sat next to him on the bleachers and talked about football and the school and his career and what not. Keep in mind that at this points I didnt really know THAT much about him. So that was cool.

Then, a couple months later, I was flying back to San Diego from a trip to Philadelphia and he was on the same flight so we ended up talking more on the way home and in the baggage claim. A really classy guy, that Eric Allen. I heard he was pretty good as a player too...
