Holy shtein.  I hope they are explaining what's about to happen to everyone on board in a calm, clear way.  This is crazy.

 They're saying they should still have a relatively safe landing. There's a shteinload of fog around LAX.

They have perfect weather.  The rear wheels are fine.  They've burned off tons of feul, and it's not a ginormous plane.  Emergency services have had tons of time to respond and the pilots have had lots of time to prepare themselves. 

It'll be good footage for the morning news, everyone will be fine.
