Phreak, don't even think it. I know for a fact that even if Wade was thinking it, the "higher-ups" wouldn't ever allow it. They are banking on this kid to be the star for years to come and will be using that as a way to get ex-season ticket holders (like me) to buy back our seats.

Ha!  Good point.  Benching Howard and playing Thome, or working out some sort of "platoon" between two left-handed hitting first basemen... would be even funnier and more characteristic of one of the worst FO's in baseball history.
