Not so bad here in the Raleigh area.  Too bad you live in bumblefarg, Sarge.

You're a couple hours off the coast though.  I guess this is one of the "perks" of coastal living.  :paranoid

You know, during my 5 years in KC I only had 2 tornados come anywhere close to where I lived and both got within 20 miles or so.  I've been here for 5 months I'm going through my first tropical storm. :-\

I just happened to look out one of my windows just in time to see the pole displaying my Eagles flag on the front deck get snapped and blown away.  Bye-bye flag.   :'(

You farging Hoyda.  I can't believe you let that flag get away -- you should have been out there wrestling Ma Nature for it!!

farging disgrace.......
The drawback to marital longevity is your wife always knows when you're really interested in her and when you're just trying to bury it.

It's all good.  It blew up against my neighbors house and it's still sitting there.   I'm actually more pissed about the pole breaking than the flag.  The flag was pretty worn out and frayed so I needed to replace it anyway and I can do that for about $10.  The pole's gonna cost me $20.

Don't get your hopes up bionic.  It's not that kind of pole.

That's the cool thing about the internets.  Everything you say can and will be used against you.

Ophelia can suck my meatcicle.

We had a bunch of tree limbs down in the yard thanks to that fat bitch and we piled them up in the front of the house over the weekend.  Now the jagoffs from the city won't pick them up because they're not "bundled."

The fargers want to charge us $200 to come pick it up.  WTF do I pay taxes for if not for those iceholes to pick up crap when storms roll through?

I hate this goddamn place.

Do what I do, leave them in the neighbors yard at night.  :evil

My wife suggested we rent a truck, load it up and then dump it on City Hall's front lawn.

My power was going off and on for most of the day yesterday and then somewhere around 7pm I guess it went out for good.  It just finally came back on about an hour ago.

I was able to retrieve my Eagles flag up against my neighbor's house however my outside trash can is MIA.

From what I've seen on the news so far this morning, there's some flooding going on around here but luckily not on my street.  The main highway heading into town is completely submerged though.

We got a couple of spritzes and "gusts" up to 15-20 MPH.  Raleigh/Durham got hit HARD.
