Oh...well he's just bitter because they didn't go after Price.  At least that's what it would seem to me.  As far as i'm concerned, McCants could be one of those guys that needed a change of scenery, not to mention his entire team sucked and he had worthless QB's throwing to him since he was a rookie.  I think he could benefit from McNabb and TO.
When you're riding in a time machine way far into the future, don't stick your elbow out the window, or it'll turn into a fossil.

He will hopefully be another big target in the redzone, and a model citizen. He had a great rep in D.C.

Not following, MURP. I've only had 1 pot of coffee so far today, I'm a little slow.

I believe the reports were he wouldnt be signed until after they played this final preseason game.

new coaches every year
New QBs throwing him the ball every year
New oline every year

ZERO consistency in this guy's career since he got there. A change of scenery and a top QB/Coaching staff that have been together for years should help him. I'm not saying this guy is the missing piece to them winning the Super Bowl, but slamming him is retarded.

[sarcasm]I used to believe the "change of scenery" rationale until the Astros traded Billy Wagner for Brandon Duckworth.[/sarcasm]

mccants.... we'll see what happens.

Bad choice of words then.

He hasn't had any stability at all. That's more my point than anything. New schemes EVERY year. New QB throwing to him EVERY year. Kind of makes a difference in one's progression.

He had his best years while playing in a pass whacky offense. The Eagles run a pass-whacky offense. He'll be whacky good.

I just thought i'd take a quick jab at Duckworth, that's all.  Sure, being in a stable offensive scheme can benefit him greatly.  We'll see though.

Like Simoneau needed a change of scenery and benifitted from Johnson's defensive scheme???  I don't know about this guy should he be signed.  Plus, he has such a negative name.  Doesn't his name mean "son of can't???"  What kind of lineage does this guy come from?   I'd prefer a McCan or a McDo or possibly a McOwnyerass.
