Seems to me that he'll have to work for that $3.25 mil all over again.

right but it doesnt say there would be any penalty for salary already earned...if he walked out on the team in the playoffs he should have to pay back some of or all his signing bonus and the money he made for the 05 regular season

Puuleeeze! This is a non-issue! TO will not walk out in the playoffs!
A) That will be his only chance for a big payday. It is his only chance for redemption. If he's not in the playoffs and not in the Superbowl he has accomplished nothing. A good regular season will not be enough to wipe the slate clean.
B)There is no way TO's ego would allow him to miss the playoffs.

You're sounding like sportscenter, trying to make something out of nothing.

Plus what team would take a guy whos vindictiveness would allow him skip out on a team in the playoffs. Even Ricky Williams thinks that's messed up.  :crazy

Unless he's dead, there is no way that TO would walk out during the playoffs.  It would absolutely be the end of his football career.  He couldn't even fake an injury and get away with it since he's already proven last year that he can come back and perform.  I think it TO makes it through the first 8 games of the season without incident then he'll be around for the entire year.

The only week that really concerns me is the bye week.  I'm hoping that TO doesn't get starved for media attention during the 2 week break and goes out and says/does something stupid.

Count me among the group that thinks he will not be able to walk out of the playoffs if he is dead. I know this is prob contrary to what some people still believe. God bless 'em. We all have to believe in something. Good point about the bye week. We all know something is going to happen sometime. If we make through 8 weeks, I guess we should consider ourselfs lucky.

TO, due to his adamant adherence to incessent stupidity, will be benched long before the playoffs.

Just for the record...if anyone is dead, he is -- inherently--  not walking anywhere.  Unless he's the living dead, but that's a whole different issue.

Go and watch "Dawn of the Dead" and tell me that dead people can't walk or even run.

Now can they catch a football is what we should really be concerned about.

Zombies seem to be able to catch people all the time no matter how fast or slow they move. Just coat a ball with brains and/or blood and we're good to go!
