Vote on the Pukes' upcoming season

Quote8) The Cowboys went 6-10 last season; how many wins do you expect this season?

68.5%   8 or more
20.9%   7
6.1%   6
2.6%   5
1.9%   4 or fewer

9) Will the Cowboys make the playoffs?

57.8%   Yes
42.2%   No

The nation is delusional.

I'll use an idiom: Fans of the National Football League ask what have you done for me lately?  As such they do not remember the years of success the Eagles enjoyed prior to the signing of the motherfarging prick Terrell Owens. They erroneously believe that the Eagles will actually falter without him, probably even losing to the fargtards at least once.

I'm not big on rooting in others to get hurt; besides, he wasn't that big of a threat.

I WANT Bledsoe to play. That would pretty much guarantee that our entire secondary (and some dlinemen) would make it to the Pro-Bowl.

I just found it amusing that Cowboys fans and national media were ignoring that Bledsoe sucked ass and was a statue in the pocket waiting to get injured, while the backups suck even more ass.

It would be funny to see Tuna have to play one of two guys who he hates though. He doesn't like Romo or Henson and luvs him sum old decrepit QBs.

Vinny Testaverde is still a FA though.. :D

Clarence E. Hill Jr., of the Star-Telegram, reports Dallas Cowboys OT Jacob Rogers (knee) will have season-ending surgery on his right knee. Cowboys' owner Jerry Jones said Rogers will have microfracture surgery next Friday, Aug. 26, which is another disappointment for head coach Bill Parcells.

HOUSTON (AP) - Oakland Raiders starting outside linebacker Sam Williams tore a knee ligament Thursday during a practice with the Houston Texans.

Raiders coach Norv Turner said Williams tore an anterior cruciate ligament, but was unsure which knee was injured.

Williams, a third-year player from Fresno State, was in nine games last season and started four. He had 22 tackles and defended three passes. He was injured while trying to make a block in morning practice.

Grant Irons will likely start in his place.

Not like Rogers was a stud or anything because he was hurt last year too, but he was being counted on to try to stabilize the RT position there.

Now they're looking at Kurt Vollers, Rob Pettitti or Torrin Tucker as the RT and the three of them are shtein.

shtein RT vs. Jevon Kearse = Dead Bledsoe

Jerrah wanted him to play through it

Quote"We got our expectations up because he played well early in camp, but when you look at his injury situation in college and how he's trying to prove himself as a young player in the NFL," Jones said of Rogers, "sometimes you have to play through something like this.

"We didn't think it was that serious. It was discouraging when he decided to have surgery. We had hopes that he would play through it."

Microfracture surgery isn't a procedure that's done for shteins and giggles...that is a serious and potentially career threateing surgery. Yet they wanted the dude to play through it.

Arthroscopic surgery is something simple, Skeletor. He could play through something like that. But jeez...ripping the dude for choosing something that s that serious? Its not like he likely chose to potentially end his career for the hell of it.

Jints looking at Couch too

QuoteThe Giants took steps to make their own evaluation, and they checked out Couch — a free agent and the first pick in the 1999 NFL Draft — yesterday at Giants Stadium. He could be someone the Giants sign to upgrade their depth at the quarterback position. The Dolphins are also one of six teams interested

QB Eagles

If the NFC sucks as badly as it did last year, the Cowgirls have as good a shot as any other team at the wild card. I could see them trickling into the playoffs at 7-9.

Couch, Bledsoe, Ramsey, Henson, Manning.......cripes, could the Eagle defense be drooling any more?

Yes.  Let one of them add Vinny.  That would be the cherry on top of the sackalicious delite!
