Just put my Salary Cap team together and none of you stand a chance ;D

The problem is that most of us will have a lot of the same people on that salary cap team.  Some of those bargains are impossible to miss.

MURP

even that doesnt matter too much... it really depends on what people do when the bye weeks are up.  Do you keep a great deal at a low price and eat the points or find another guy and get the points for that week?

That's a good point.... Your roster is only enough to complete your roster on a weely basis with no reserves.

The rules state:  "If you do not have a complete 9-man roster, you will not receive any fantasy points for your entire lineup for that week. "      So if your QB is on a bye week does that mean you don't have a complete roster?  Or do you have to sit your QB, pick another one up and then go back and get your regular starter back probably at a higher price.

Am I makings sense?

no.  you have a complete roster, your player is just not playing that week and gets no points.
You must have a player at every spot, so you cant save money by not having a kicker and using that extra cash on another position etc.

Understood . . thanks.

The problem is that when a player has a bye week his value goes down significantly because so many people drop them so you have to be on the lookout for good values all the time. You're all gonna get smoked.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

MURP

what do you mean his value goes down?    As far as I know the price of a player stays the same through a bye week, no?

MURP

there are still spots open for all 3 contests, but obviously the season is starting soon and time is running out if you want in.   This is my last reminder.  Send me a message if your not in yet and want to be.

Salary Cap Fantasy Football- A different kind of fantasy football.  Everyone gets money and has to build their team with that money.  There is no draft so it doesnt take much time to make your own team.

- Suicide league-  pick one team each week.  If your team wins you go on to the next week.  If they lose, you are done.  You cant pick the same team twice.

- NFL Pickem- Pick the winners of each game every week throughout the year.

I haven't done NFL salary cap before, but in the other leagues I did years ago, the value of the players was directly proportionate to the number of owners to picked them up/dropped them. So on a bye week, a player will be dropped a lot lowering his value. That may not be the case here, I don't have any idea.

In the pick em, do you count the spreads?
