Oh, all right.  Go back with the other Sunday School kids, now.  And stay away from TO.  He's bad news.

Did anyone see clips from the Rosenhaus sitdown on HBO real sports? Rosenhaus got owned and badly. He had nothing to say but BS and kept running in circles with his arguments.

Don't do that, man.  She's neurotic.  Just let it go.  She can't help herself.

QuoteTerrell Owens made kids smile.

Wednesday afternoon in West Philadelphia, the Kids Smiles organization opened its second non-profit dental center and did so by featuring a special guest.

"T.O. takes time out for teeth" was the theme of the event.

Owens brought out smiles in a few dozen children and discussed the importance of dental hygiene. Though he isn't the most popular athlete in the city at the moment, one wouldn't have known it from watching Owens or the kids.

"It's a good thing that they had me do for the kids," Owens said. "Basically stressing the importance of eating healthy, good hygiene, brushing their teeth, and eating healthy snacks. Nowadays kids are on the couch, playing a lot of video games, snacking and eating candy and stuff right before they go to bed. We're just trying to educate them."

Owens was his usual, captivating self. Near the end of his talk, he pointed out how he uses his smile on the field."When I'm scoring touchdowns on people," Owens said, "I just look back at them and ... (Owens breaks into a large grin) ... smile."

Fortunately, after addressing the children, T.O. took a timeout to speak with the media, who, as expected, inquired into more than the benefits of brushing ones teeth.

First, Owens addressed the impact his contract issues have taken on his public perception. After the Super Bowl, Owens had the key to the city. But now he's dropped it.

Based on a recent poll on this Web site, the overwhelming majority of Eagles fans would rather see the team let Owens hold out than succumb to his demands or trade him.

In justifying his desire for a new contract, Owens drew the fans' wrath by claiming he needed more money to "feed his family." Or did he?

"I never said 'feed my family,' " Owens said. "When someone says they want to take care of their family, maybe that falls under that category, but I never said that specifically – feeding my family. So that's what's really been taken out of context, and it's sad to say that that gets out there. Then people look at me as someone who is selfish and greedy."

Owens explained how he is his family's primary provider.

"I am basically the father that my mom never had, the father that my brothers and sisters don't have," he said. "That's what people don't understand. I am the father of my family. Anything comes about, everything falls on my shoulders. That's what they don't understand. I'm taking care of myself, my kids, my brother and sister, my mom, my grandmother – who's suffering right now – so I'm taking care of a lot of things. So it's not just me."

Owens admitted that this ordeal has been tiresome.

"It definitely has. I thought last year, with the trade situation – I thought that was special. But this has taken a toll on me," he said. "I'm going to do whatever I need to do for my family. If that's playing here or playing elsewhere, then that's what I have to do."

But Owens didn't act or sound like someone who wanted to leave Philadelphia. This is the second time in a month that Owens has flown in to visit area children. Earlier this month, Owens appeared at a football camp on the Main Line.

"The fans here have been great. That's what I really want to stress – it's not the fans that I have a problem with. It's not them. It's not all of my teammates that I have a problem with. Business is business," Owens said.

"I love the Eagles fans. They're part of the reason that I had the success last year. Sort of like the No. 1 reason why I rehabbed my butt off so bad because they wanted me back. They wanted to see T.O. play in the Super Bowl. I kept that in the back of my mind."

Still, Owens insists his request for more money is justified.

"People don't understand. If they were in my shoes, and what I've done on the field, they understand the contractual situation surrounding me – then they know my current contract is unfair," he said. "That's what I can't really try to make the public know. If somebody can educate them on how everything is, then maybe they'll have a better understanding as far as some of the things I'm trying to do."

Next Monday, Eagles veterans are required to report to Lehigh for training camp. Last week, Owens made a shocking announcement by saying he would arrive on time. However, agent Drew Rosenhaus almost immediately contradicted Owens' claim, stating that the final decision had not yet been made.

So T.O., where will you be this time next week?

"Who's to say?" Owens said. "Who's to say?"

On the bright side, Owens doesn't need training camp to get in shape.

"Last week I got on the track – that's the fastest I've ever run," he said. "The guy I ran against – he's pretty fast, faster than I thought. We honestly ran some 4-3's (40-yard dashes). I'm a workout demon. I'm going to continue to work out, no matter what the situation is."

Bah - it's not like Owens is the most eloquent person or even thinks before he speaks.

Both Edge James and Javon Walker reported to camp on time.  And it was all but certain Walker was going to hold out.

My CCFFFL team is looking pretty stacked now ;D

He didn't say it with the stress on the word "all". If you listened to the interview, he just meant it as "all of his teammates" he doesn't have a problem with.
