Today I attended a meet with a bunch of photographers. The meet was in a working studio, and we had access to a good deal of professional lighting, and a few models...so I got my first experience with portraiture. Pretty interesting stuff (well, to me, anyway).

Sus..  meant to ask you.

The vodka.  Russian? Ukrainian?  What slavic country?

That's not vodka...it's ouzo.

Father Demon

Now that I refresh my slavic letter reading, I can see that.  I hadn't dusted that skill off in 2 years..   now, to make the rest of the bottle out..

Man, I got some good memories about that stuff.  Although, mine all come from hanging with Aussies in the Philippiines.

I haven't had that stuff in years, but I'm sure I still love it.

Nice pics, BTW....

110 inches of snow and counting so far.  4 75# bags of sand in the back for traction.  Tacoma+Blizzard combo worked out way better than I expected.  Moves tons of snow.

I was trying to go with a "green" theme with some tabletop work. I also took shots of a Jameson bottle...but I didn't really like the results. Anyway, this was a start:
