Been playing Jade EMpire on Xbox for about a week. Very fun lil' RPG.

Jade Empire is one of my favorite games. I went through it twice, once bad and once good. I think they're planning a sequel

Do you have to fly into a underground base about halfway through?

the final mission you have to fly into the base, up the cannon, and then thru the back way.

im on level 10 and i have to go through these tunnels that are take off platforms built into canyon walls, destroy whats inside and fly out the other end...its freakin hard as hell just to line up going into the tunnel right let alone keep the plane steady in the tunnel at 300mph without hitting the walls. i thought the game was pretty realistic until the level before where i had to shoot down a flying aircraft carrier that looked like a giant sting ray. this game is nuts.

Week In Video Game News: Gambling Gamers, Madden Locks Up NFL

Madden NFL 08News from the virtual world:

-A RISKY BET: When Billy Levy and Zack Zeldin were roommates in Miami Beach, they played ''Madden NFL'' for $100 a game. Now the guys are betting that there are plenty of other gamers who like to ''make things interesting,'' and they're about to start a Web site where players can put their money where their joystick thumbs are.

Once you register at Toronto-based WorldGaming's site, it will hook you up with other gamblers who want to challenge you at ''Halo 3,'' ''Tiger Woods PGA Tour'' or about a dozen other games. After you put your money in escrow, you go to your console and play; WorldGaming will be able to track the competition and pay off the winner.

Levy says that since skill supersedes chance in video games, WorldGaming isn't considered a gambling arena, so it's legal in most of the United States. The site's founders haven't sought approval from Microsoft or Sony, the proprietors of the Xbox and PlayStation networks on which the actual competitions will take place. ''We'd love that to happen,'' says marketing director Richard Santiago, ''but we have some proving to do.''

The entrepreneurs hope to make money from ads and fees for hosting online tournaments. In the meantime, they're giving away about $50,000 in prizes leading up to their April launch, and gamers with a taste for action are invited to help with beta testing at www.WorldGaming.com.

yeah, thats the first thing I said to myself too...but cool ass concept.

You think of all the heads that play video games and how addicted people are.....it could be up there with online poker or better...especially if you have a legit chance of beating your opponent alot. You could make some change

its just another way for lazy farging people to not get a job, stay home and play games all day for a chance to win money. wow. i can't see how anyone thinks this is a good idea. hell half the people who would do it are prob on well fair and taking advantage of working people.

i can't see it happening logistically anyway. the servers are not 100% up to speed with the games, which means glitches happen, which means a sack could make or break a game your playing in madden. too many ways to complain about the loss and to try to fight it.
