Rome

Her luscious ass was floating  on screen for a few minutes.  That was all I needed.

clooney was clooney in that movie...he wasnt even trying to be someone else

i also saw a downright terrible movie last week. the butler sucked something else. lee daniels is terrible at directing things. 2 hours of stupid forest gump moments featuring a boring main character and thin supporting actors. then the last 10 minutes were an obama commerical. 1/5 for oprahs tits.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Great Gatsby...farging awful

I turned it off.

took the kids to see Muppets Most Wanted yesterday.

they loved it but i thought it was really disappointing compared to the one that came out a few years ago.  I'm a big Tina Fey and Ricky Gervais fan but something about it was off.
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

Rome

We saw Divergent.  My 13 yr-old loved it.  My opinion is irrelevant.

The theater tried to serve me a microwaved soft pretzel, though.

I saw it yesterday with the family and I completely agree. Seemed lack the heart that the other one had.

Also, I saw A Place Beyond the Pines. It was a completely different movie than I was expecting based on previews that I'd seen. I could make equally compelling arguments about whether it was worthwhile or not. I guess that means that I'm not sure overall, but I don't think it was as good as the movie sort of pretended to be. It wanted to be deep, but it ended up feeling a little contrived.

Dallas Buyers Club = I see why it won the awards it did (goddamn the main actors made themselves anorexic), but it isn't a film that you'll watch more than once

Bad Grandpa = The best parts are the blacks reacting to the stunts, especially the "ladies night" scene at the bar. Worth a watch if you're a fan of the Jackass series, but those movies are better

Hangover III = I know they wanted a third movie to complete the trilogy, but wow it sucked.  Having Chow as a main focal point of the movie instead of just a character they run into a couple times was a bad idea

Frozen = If you can make it through the series of songs at the beginning, it's a really good movie and one of the better animated ones I've seen. Recommended if you have two or more daughters/nieces/sisters

Despicable Me 2 = About the same as the first one, but the minions get more air time

Planes = Pretty much a ripoff of Cars, but it was OK, nothing great.  Better than Cars 2, at least

This seems pretty accurate.  I tended to fall more towards the like it/worth a look end of the spectrum but it aimed higher than it hit.  That being said I usually prefer movies that at least exhibit some ambition.

Yeah, I don't regret watching it. One thing is certain, Ray Liotta has pretty much nailed down the bad cop routine.

Just watched The Wolf of Wall Street and thought it was very good. DiCaprio was excellent.
