Just got back from Oblivion.  It actually wasn't bad at all.   I mean, it was terrible in terms of the script, acting & other things that make most movies either good or bad, but it was a huge science fiction movie with a twist at the end.  Plus it had Olga Kurylenko in it, and I could watch her read the phone book (or even lines from this movie in a pinch) for two hours.  Cruise wasn't awful.  Morgan Freeman was, well, himself.   Basically it was a mishmash of Wall-E, Independence Day, & Planet of the Apes without the chimps.

Solid B here mostly for the scenery and Olga.

My favorite part of the entire movie is immediately after the girl has the c section she gets stapled up, runs off and fights. Brilliant writing.

Movie was a mess, but still nerdgasmed over all the Alien tie-ins.

Since they pretty much used the movie to set up sequels, hopefully they'll be better.

blade runner was an embarrassment to society

its one thing to think sci fi films are entertaining...its another to think something like that is 4 star good

Blade Runner has a cult following I'll never understand. It's a horrendus movie on every level.
