Anyone seen a good movie lately?

Ghost Protocol was probably the worst movie I saw last year. Cringe worthy. Simon Pegg was barely tolerable, everything else was infuriating garbage.

Ghost Protocol was bad. Period. Dude can whisk though all the guards and prisoners in a gulag... But gets his ass kicked by a 70 year old scientist? Ummm, okay.

There was more unexplainable and intelligence insulting shtein in that movie than in any I've seen in a long time.  I suspend disbelief really really easily. I'm a movie fanatic and I let myself get drawn in but holy god that shtein was just too much. So bad.

I actually saw it in the movies, so I was inclined to give it a break. The nonsense just ate away at me,  though.

I know I'm a little late on this one but just watched "The Hobbit". I don't know how it was any less good than the lord of the rings movies.

I liked it, the only thing that bothered me, and I have patience for movies, was the whole riddle game bullshtein with Bilbo and Smigel. That shtein was waaaaaaaaay too long for me.

Anyways, looking forward to the rest of the movies.

And Ghost Protocol wasn't that bad.   It was pointless and stupid but there's way worse crap that gets released each year than that.

That may be the case...but I don't go see those movies. There was no reason for Ghost Protocol to be as bad as it was, so I feel like it tricked me into going to see it. I mean, I was expecting a reasonable, check your reality at the door popcorn movie...which is what it should have been. And I expect that, because of the money that's invested in making the movie...almost like a checks and balances thing. I mean those kind of movies can practically write themselves, and it took a special kind of hack to come up with that script.

The only reason I watched it was because of an article I read about huge box office hits that shouldn't have been.

Meh - Cost me $1.25 and two hours of my life while doing laundry.  I'll survive.

I watched End of Watch last night and thought it was pretty good. The ending was pretty powerful and a bit unexpected.
