Radio host to Hilary Swank: You're not a pretty girl

A recent radio interview almost turned ugly when the host informed Oscar winner Hilary Swank that she isn't pretty.

Swank was chatting with Kim Masters of L.A.'s KCRW on Monday when the discussion turned to the lack of roles for older actresses in Hollywood.

"I'm still young enough that I haven't been feeling the brunt of that," Swank said. "Certainly, you hear about it ... and you do see it, although you also see a lot more roles I think opening up for older women. I mean, Meryl Streep seems to be dominating."

"Oh, but she's... the exception," replied Masters. "She's not a pretty girl, and you're not either."

Rather than being reduced to tears, the "Boys Don't Cry" star joked, "Hey, what are you saying?!" then added, "Actually, I completely know what you're saying. I play characters. I don't play a movie star-looking type of person, which I prefer. I mean, who walks around looking like that anyway?"

The Tourist. It has a twist and if you have the intelligence of a cantaloupe and somehow do not guess the twist within ten minutes of the movie starting, maybe it's watchable for you and your feable-minded kin. If you have brains in your head, rather than liquid feces, this movie sucked ballsacks.

Oh yeah, and Blue Valentine was good but also awful and did everything it could to make sexy sex unsexy. Not a fun movie.

hahaha...was going to type something similar. Even knowing "the twist", (notice the comma outside the quotes) the movie could have been saved by Jolie getting naked. Gia is still by far her best movie.

Kickass - completely different than what I was expecting. Even knowing the title, I still thought it was going to be a kids movie. It was a fun movie good for wasting time....baked

Leaves Of Grass - pretty good flick, but I like a lot of Edward Norton movies

Sex Drive - less stupid than I was expecting, but also less tits than I thought there would be. Worth a watch if only to fastforward through all the scenes not including the badass GTO Judge

The Horde - French zombie flick. Surprisingly good. Great violence and bad ass zombies.

Gamer - Worse than I was expecting and I wasn't expecting much at all.  It's a video game version of Death Race which was an automotive version of The Running Man.  Fat dude in the wheel chair was farging creepy.

In honor of the sequel to The Hangover coming out next weekend I watched the original again this morning.

Funniest goddamn movie I've ever seen.    I see no way they're going to top the O.G. though.

Hangover was good, not great.  I think it was pumped up a little too much for me before I saw it.
