Cop Out was awful.

what possessed you to actually get in your car, go to the theater and pay money to see that?  it looks so terrible that i can't even watch the previews anymore and change the channel whenever it comes on.  i overheard some kids....late teens/early 20's yesterday talking about how hilariously awesome it was.  i hope they died last night.

watched milk last night.  very good flick although i was expecting to get a little more insight into how difficult life was for gays back then and it didn't really get into that but was entirely focused on harvey milk (which makes sense since the movie is about him).  but even watching movies about mlk or malcom x, they still managed to not only go into great detail about the person, but you really got a feel for how horrible life was for black people so i was expecting to see a little more of that in milk too.  still a damn good movie though.

It looked bad but I wanted to see it just because I always seem to get some enjoyment out of action guys like Bruce Willis doing stupid comedy movies.

I watched Ghost Town (Ricky Gervais) last night, just for the hell of it. I thought it had some good laughs, but i think you have to be into Gervais' style of delivery to like it.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Big Kevin Smith fan...I like Tracy Morgan too.  I knew it was gonna suck, but it was really bad.  The theater was about half full and was silent pretty much the whole time.  I guess I just don't get 20 year old humor because all the young folk seem to love this piece of shtein.

Rome

bruce willis's career has fallen so far it's hard to believe he was once one of the biggest movie stars in the world.

Sgt PSN

i'm going to chalk that movie up to some sort of contractual obligation more than him being desperate to make a movie.

you're still on about his career taking a bit of a nose dive, but i really can't see him being that hard up that he would voluntarily sign on for something like that.  tracy morgan, who i think is funny and never understood why he never got many big roles, is totally desperate for anything and if he has any significant role in a movie it's almost a tell tale sign not to watch it.  same with stifler.

I thought the Crazies was good.  Not amazing or anything but if you're into the genre then go for it.

religulous - utterly frightening 4/5

almost famous - seen it in parts years ago but never straight through. great music but good god does kate hudson suck. 3/5

crumb - docu on 60s counter culture artist robert crumb. farged up beyond belief, but fascinating. 3.5/5

funny people - complete and total misfire form apatow. he was going for some kind of oscar winning movie but got a disjointed, convoluted, horribly-paced mess of a film. 1.5/5
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Even tho I hate Bill, this dvd was awesome.  Even gave me some firepower next time I am forced to sit next to some religous nut on the plane\metro\shuttle.
