its actually the kind of movie i would normally enjoy...plus i think kate winslet is the best actress in the biz right now...so i thought i would like it...but its not very good...really boring

the reader which is in that same artsie period piece type vein is excellent and far superior to RR

Just watched On the Waterfront again last night via TiVo.

Reminded me that no one has a farging clue how to write a good script anymore.  40s and 50s were just that much better than the drivel put out now.

Pixar is just too consistent with quality work. Up is not as good as Wall E, but very good.

Speaking of Wall-E. I saw it. Overrated. Not bad, but really didn't live up to the hype.
