Nothing was solid about Invincible outside of the fact that it revolved around the Eagles. It was a pretty terrible movie and he runs like a midget.

even being about the eagles doesnt save it in any way....no matter how you look at it invincible is unwatchable...due in large part to markey marks inability to act
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Even though it wasn't the actual vet it gave me flashbacks of watching games there. How you can say it's 'unwatchable' is fascinating since you have such a hard on for that era of Eagles football.

I also enjoyed it, and also probably wouldn't have liked it as much if it were about another NFL team. But Marky Mark's acting was still pretty solid, especially for him.

He had about as average of a performance as an actor could have. Although Kinear was good as Vermeil.

i was bored with invincible and hated wahlberg's portrayal of papale.  i thought the "tryout" scene resembled american idol auditions and didn't get any real insight to just how hard he had to work to make the team.

and if it were about any other team, then i would hate nearly everything about it.  i'd rather watch the garbage picking, field goal kicking philaldelphia phenominon 20,000 times over instead of that steamy hot piece of garbage again.

disney sucks at making movies about philly sports teams.

rjs246

Ah good point. Kinear was good. I actually enjoyed watching it as a fan of the Eagles. As a fan of good movies though, it sort of chapped my ass.

ill watch a real football game from the vet if i want flashbacks...and ive read many books on the eagles that have sucked as well...just because its about my team doesnt automatically make it good...plus my era is the buddy era

Average performance for an actor for Wahlberg is amazing in itself.

Yes, IGY, it's a good thing 20 random Romes on the internet are "everyone I've come across". Unlike you I spend some time in the outside world, where I actually meet black people...instead of posting on an NFL team internet forum about how unfairly they are treated.

this is the funniest thing you've ever said.  not surprisingly though, it was by total accident.

You're from Boston, Rusty....I have nothing to contribute.

Ha. 'From Boston'. Idiot.

I'm 10 years older than you and have lived all over the country and traveled all over the world. But I'm sure you have a point in there somewhere.

rusty made his way around the european night club circuit with nothing more than a couple of glow sticks, a bottle of hand lotion, a small rag and an unmeasurable amount of determination.

The point is you don't know any authentic black people living in Boston
