Watched Role Models last night, which had my wife and I rolling.  And I've seen LARPs (thankfully without participating) and can honestly say that LAIRE was pretty close.
Anyone but Reid.

Well I just canceled my Blockbuster online account. Apparently they never informed me that when you take your mailed in rentals into the store for exchange, that they wait til you return your in-store movies before mailing out the movies in your queue. This was the only reason I was with them, because of the in-store exchange. I wrote them a letter explaining why I was paying the same price for a service that was no longer available and less than what it was before. farging cheap move by Blockbuster. In reality it was an extra cost I could of cut out along time ago. farg YOUR BLOCKBUSTER!

Yep, Blockbuster had a good thing going for a while and made a couple of rule changes, hoping no one would notice.

I went back to Netflix a few months back.

Seabiscuit36

plus Netflix on 360 kicks ass

I watched the worst WWII movie Saturday, "The Last Drop" Horrible.  0/5

I just saw Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Role Models too.  FSM was underwhelming (I thought it would be as funny as Knocked Up) but Kristen Bell looked awesome.  Role Models was funny (and it had 4 or 5 people from "The State" in it).  Jessica Morris (that blonde teacher in the party scene).....another gorgeous blonde...

Nosferatu.

I watched from its halfway point last night.

I think it was pretty good for a silent film. It had that creepy element most modern day horror films lack. The zesty camera and bad lighting set the mood perfectly and just the thought of some freaky looking vampire walking around with a coffin in town is pretty crazy and 'scary' at the same time.

Just from what I saw, I would recommend it. For historical purposes if any at the very least.
I said watch the game and you will see my spirit manifest.-ILLEAGLE 02/04/05

Just got done watching Forgetting Sarah Marshall.  One of the funniest goddamn movies I've ever seen.  Funnier than all the other Apatow movies combined in fact.

QFT.

I didn't know about the gag reel though, going to need to check that out on the DVD now.

FSM was my favorite movie last year.

Father Demon

Watched Pineapple Express (speaking of Apatow), and I thought it was horrendous.  Awful.  Sucked.
The drawback to marital longevity is your wife always knows when you're really interested in her and when you're just trying to bury it.

Rome

Seth Rogan starts annoying a motherfarger pretty quickly.  It's like Roger Moore as James Bond.  First one?  Okay.  Second one?  Um, where's the liquor??  Third one... you start looking for someone to punch in the face in the theater as you're silently praying for death to come.

ice grillin you

racheal getting married - outstanding movie....had read the reviews and it was supposed to be just an ok film but an epic performance by hathaway...hathaway was indeed excellent but i thought the movie was actually as good or better than her...im sure i liked it more than most because its socially over the top liberal...and also jonathan demme put fab five freddy in it

gomorrah - possibly the best mafia movie ive ever seen...yes better (or at least as good) as godfather(s) and definitely better than goodfellas...only reason i say its possibly the best is because i just saw it and i need a gestation period...but it was phenominal

touch of evil - utter garbage...this is why i dont watch old movies...if this is one of the best of all time you can imagine how awful an even good movie from the 50's is...i will say orson wells was tolerable and for that time probably awesome...i had a really really difficult time finishing the movie...only reason i did was because i thought it was gonna have some crazy twist ending...it didnt

racheal - 7.5/10

gomorrah - 11/10

evil - 2/10
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

I think we're gonna check out Sin Nombre and I Love You, Man this weekend.

My penance for watching basketball all weekend....but those two movies I actually want to see, so its good.

Really enjoyed Gran Torino. In the history of cinema I don't know if a character has ever single handidly carried a movie the way Eastwood did in GT. His expert delivery of ethnic slurs took made it a partial comedy.

I guess he didn't win any awards because he wasn't acting.
