hoosiers is the greatest sports movie of all time. but the greatest sports movie of all time is like the 1000th best movie of all time. probably lower. sports movies generally suck.

i actually have it on dvd...its an extremely well made and acted movie one of the best ever in that respsect...its just not very watchable

you really cant understand how a movie could be well made and well acted but not be very watchable...think about it im sure you can think of some...i have lots

deer hunter
pianist
big night
one flew over the cuckoos nest


some of these i dont like at all
some of these i love
some are just ok

but all are very well made and at the same time not movies id ever own on dvd

i have many movies i actually like a lot but know that i will/would never watch again because even tho they may be quality they carry a low replay value
