That movie was pretty retarded, though I thought the part with Elvis was hilarious.

No.  It was the loser from the White Stripes.  They suck.

So you don't love No Country and you think the White Stripes suck?

You. Lose.

Anton Chigurh is one of my favorite characters of all time.

However, pretty much everyone else in the movie was lame, and I didn't give a rat's ass about any of them, especially Tommy Lee's sheriff.  I was actually pissed that Chigurh didn't kill his wrinkled ass too.

It was a really good movie.  Juno was more entertaining overall.

Josh Brolin's role as Llewelyn was severely under-appreciated because of how fantastic Bardem was. Jones was vanilla but still excellent. LOSE.

Brolin's character was a distant second, and I thought he was relatively well-acted also.  "Best Picture" well-acted is a completely different story.

But at least some shtein like "Chicago" or "Titanic" didn't win.

ice grillin you

both movies are great
the year was great
the best in a long time
and only one movie can win
i like juno better
but have no problem with no country winning
michael clayton could have also easily won
is better than no country and tied with or a pube behind juno

Regardless of whether or not you like the White Stripes or not it was still funny as hell.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Finally saw Rocky Balboa last night.

Overall, I really liked it and thought it was a great way to end the whole saga.  The only thing that I didn't get was that as soon as Rocky met up with Apollo's old trainer, the first thing he said was that because of Rocky's arthritis, he wouldn't be able to run at all during his training.  Then as soon as they start the training montage the first thing you see him doing is running down the street.  What's that all about?

Other than that I thought it was great.  4/5 and Stallone successfully managed to close the books on 2 legendary characters in the same year.  Too bad some Hollywood dickbag is going to do a horrible Rocky or a Rambo remake in about 15 years and ruin it.
