actually i think its a great way to show the joker off...apparently its the first 5 minutes of the movie and you really get the sense of how much of a psycho the joker is.

they are really going for the original comic book version of the joker...a psychotic serial killer.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it sucks or doesn't like like a bad ass movie.  Just saying that that particular scene reminded me of the end of The Departed with everyone killing each other.

Wow. That shtein looks incredible.  Pisses me off that we have to wait til the farging summer to see that shtein though.

I finally watched Transformers all the way through last night.

Good: Lots of shtein blows up in lots of farging cool ways, the Tranformers themselves were cool, battle scenes were dope, Megan Fox is smokin', Shia LeBeouf was his usual affable self.
Mediocre: You have to sign up for 10000% suspension of disbelief because not a single thing about the characters was believable. (I won't even mention the plot because it's a movie about sentient robots from space. They weren't really gunning for realism.)
Awful: Anthony Anderson, all of the 'hackers', all of the soldiers, Josh Duhamel, Jon Voigt, LeBeouf's parents, John Turturo... basically all of the acting and scripted behavior of all of the charcters was awful and or made no sense.

In other words I liked it because it's a goddamned fun movie to watch but if you don't like big guns, and explosions, and awkward leads, you're going to think it's the worst movie ever made.
