i saw Micheal Clayton last night. very well acted and i really liked it even though im sure its similar to a lot of other movies. but i haven't really seen those so it didn't seem repetitive.

what i didn't  get or liked was the sudden moment of clarity everyone seemed to have.

Homer: Is it BATMAN!!??

My mom just gave me Trading Places on dvd.  :yay

farging great flick.

Agreed.  I was channel surfing a while back and came across it on Comedy Central or something and although a lot of it was censored, it was still funny as hell.

One thing that was weird, though: you know how they have a quality rating system for movies on the cable system - well, they only had the movie rated at 2 1/2 stars out of 4.   Who is doing the critical ratings for Bright House Networks?

Even if American Gangster sucks (which I doubt), it has to have the best trailer of all time.

I also have to agree with this.  Ridley Scott is the shtein and I don't know how they managed to get Denzel & Russell Crowe into the same movie but whoever thought of that pairing deserves major props.

Denzel got a "do or die" pay-day of $15 million the first time around they wanted to make this movie. For whatever reason, it didn't pan out and the movie was never made, but Denzel still got his money. He's getting about the same amount for this one, too.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

"Evan Almighty" makes "Bruce Almighty" look like a classic.

I didn't laugh once the entire movie.  Bad.

Well, it's at least harmless for kids, I guess... except they'll leave it believing in Morgan Freeman as the one true God.  I suppose there are worse things.

the office character he plays was overly redone in evan almighty. just not good at all

Please tell me you at least went with a special needs person or something, or at very least, your first choice of film was sold out.

i was hammered and got in the car to go to the movies...the next thing i know this piece of shtein is on the screen, thanks to my one friend who has horrible taste in movies and is never allowed to pick the movie again.  he was punished.

If it's the same guy that freely chose to see "Evan Almighty" on the big screen, it's fair to say that would be more of a reward for him.

I kind of feel like spending money to watch 30 days of night. It almost looks good.

I know for a fact that it won't be good and I also know for a fact that I will pay money to watch it. Supernatural shtein is my achilles heel.

Not as bad as I thought it was going to be, the chicks next to me hiding under their sweatshirt everytime something happened was quite funny.
