Well, I finally watched The Departed on Monday. I really liked it. However the ending could have been better. If the ending was a tad better it gets a 4/5; but I'll give it a 3.5/5.

Now that school is just about done I can catch up on movies like Rocky Balboa, Blood Diamond, The Good Shepherd and such.

ice grillin you

went to see fracture last night...well made well acted but just was missing something...the payoff at the end didnt justify watching the two hours that preceeded it...it was kind of a poor mans presumed innocent or primal fear even...i definitely recommend renting it...in fact its a great rental but not worth seeing in the movies

5/10

I don't know if I mentioned it but I saw Curse of the Golden Flower a little while back. The scenery is so colorful that it's almost like an asault on the senses but it made for a very unique movie-watching experience. The acting was excellent, the story was silly and the action (though there wasn't enough of it) was really good. Definitely worth checking out.

7/10
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

Watched Blood Diamond last night.  I hate leonardo but he's a damn good actor.  3.5/5

"Rise of the Taj"

It was slightly worse than I expected, but not the worst thing I watched this weekend.

0.2 out of 5.0

How does it compare to Van Wilder?

It doesn't.  It tries to be a combo of "Old School" and "Van Wilder" and fails awfully.

I did just see a worse movie, though...  "Man of the Year".

The movie has no purpose.  It doesn't know if it's funny, which it's not.  It tries to be suspenseful, which it's not.  It's preachy, but I'm not sure exactly what about.  It wastes the talents of many good actors, and also Robin Williams.

0.0 out of 5.  This is one of the worst movies I've seen, if not the absolute worst.

I watched Trust the Man the other night.  I was expecting some zesty chick flick but it was actually surprisingly good.  yes, it's still a chick flick but there are enough funny guy moments to make it worthwhile.  and david duchovny and the other main guy are pretty good.

About 20 minutes of Grandmas Boy. I wasn't high.

Still. 3/5
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Went and saw Next tonight.  Obviously not going to go down as one of the greatest movies of all time but it kept me entertained from start to finish.  I'd say this is one of those in between movies as far as recommending to see it in the theater or wait until it comes out on dvd.  I had a good time and thought it was worth the price of admission based solely on seeing Jessica Biel in her bra and panties but I could certainly understand other people being disappointed.......like women and teh gheys.

Phanatic

Watched Ace Ventura Pet detective 2 for some reason. The only reason that movie is watchable is because of that Rhino scene. Kills me. Other then that it's almost unwatchable.

ha, the Rhino scene was a classic.

I have it at home because Blockbuster was out of it a few weeks ago, so I got a "rain check".

I probably won't watch it after reading the reviews.  Snoozefest.
