That's the thing... I have a six year-old.  Usually our ears would get bent to the point of being ripped off over a seeing a movie like that but we didn't in that case.

It wasn't even a topic of conversation at her school.  Parents will shoot the shtein at get-togethers about movies, sports, and other stuff but that movie wasn't mentioned.

Strange.

Not sure where you've been, Romey, that movie was all over the commercials for awhile.

I haven't seen it, but probably will at some point.

Saw it with the kids. They liked it. Basic kids fluff movie. Nothing earth shattering or AIDs inducing really.

Memoirs of a Geisha 7/10. Thought it was well put together and well done. Only knock on it was that there wasn't enough nudity.

Went and watched Fracture this weekend, it was very good.  I am not sure how to rate it but it is definitely worth watching.

I don't know if anyone's mentioned it, but one of the movies responsible for the rebirth of the zombie genre, 28 Days Later, is about to be sequelized. I've got an undead boner.

I never liked 28 days later much, maybe it was the British accents. Greatest zombie movie ever is Dawn of the Dead.
