I cant bring up that list so i'll go over some IGY wrote and others that come to mind that i have

Deerhunter isnt war to me, sure its got some farged up scenes but its more about a guys struggle after.

I liked Saving Private Ryan, oddly i can fall asleep like a baby when its on.  Its calming  :paranoid

FMJ is just as IGY said, To me it has one of the worst endings i've ever seen.

Apocolypse Now is greatness, fat Brando crazy!

A Thin Red Line was the most cinematic war movie ever shot, just amazing.  Little dialogue but the way it was shot there was no need.

Schindlers list- great movie

The Piano-great movie, horrible name

I always loved Platoon, probably since i was 9 when i first watched it and it made an impression on me.

Windtalkers, bought it, never really liked it.

The Great Raid was a great story but it definitely was missing something

Black Hawk Down- Possibly top 3 all time for war related movies.

BHD had everything, great actors/acting.  A real story, that was farged up.  Great sound effects, especially for surround sound.  Its the first movie im watching in my theater room once its finished.  Actually that pisses me off that BHD didnt make it.

thats what was so great about it...it was real and took no liberties...i read the book first which is incredible in its own right....and when i saw the movie i was amazed at how loyal it was to the book

its truly amazing what those guys went thru and how many of them acutally lived

Black Hawk Down not only should have made the list it should have been top 10.

And I know it was an 80's flick but I always liked Red Dawn.
