The Exorcist isn't creepy-corpse-jumping-out-at-you scary by today's standards, but it is still one of, if not THE, scariest movie I've ever seen.

Yep. I enjoy a good scary movie and that is the best of them all.

Phreak- Have you ever seen The Changeling? It's an old ('77, I believe) George C. Scott ghost story. The obligatory '70's cheesy effects in spots, but, creepy in it's own right.
Maybe the voices aren't real, but, they've got some pretty good ideas...

The BIGSTUD

"LET GEORGE BUSH DRINK THE BLOOD OF EVERY MAN, WOMAN, AND CHILDREN IN IRAQ!"
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

Wife and I just watched the first 80 minutes of "Fast Food Nation".  Maybe we'll get to the last 35 minutes or so this weekend, but it sure has been completely lame thus far.  I think they're trying to develop a story, but it sure is going nowhere fast.

What's the word on Borat? I guess the character is from Ali G but I've never seen that show, so I guess my question is will I still find it funny or is it a bunch of inside jokes that you'd have to be a fan of that show to get?

The scenes that are supposed to be hilarious are, but like someone said, there's really not enough of them. That being said, I'm easily amused and some of the other random shtein he says I find pretty funny.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Sounds like it's moving along rather slowly actually.

flightplan - first two thirds of it were very well done...then it kind of fell apart at the end...mostly due to the fact that there was no segueway whatsoever from mystery to final 'chase' to an explanation for what we just watched...i mean in about ten  minutes you literally go from 'damn whats gonna happen this is getting good!' to 'its over?'...

and whats left are plot holes so big that you could fly the friggin plan jodie foster is on thru them....and its a really big plane...i dont fly but for people who do and have seen this are their really planes this big??

5.5/10
