Ed Norton is my fav actor right now and has been for a while. Probably since American History X.

But... but... He's not in "Lost in Translation"!

Finally saw Snakes On A Plane. F'n loved it. Then again, I'd rent Sam Jackson reading the friggin' phonebook. 3.5/5

You're in luck.  He's going to narrate the movie "Farce of the Penguins".

why a theatre?  Im just wondering because most people only say that when the special effects are so awesome that the big screen and sound make it a theatre "must see."

im talking strictly $$$$

20 bucks for tickets
10 bucks for food

vs

"free" netflix dvd

i only go to the movies if its something i think im really gonna enjoy and for that kind of money it has to be real good to be worth "seeing in a theater"

I almost went and saw Children of Men this weekend based on one reviewer's comparison of it to Blade Runner.

I ended up watching Blade Runner on DVD instead.

I also watched Reservoir Dogs again for like the 10th time.  That movie is so fargin awesome it's scary.

Diomedes

Aristocrats: 8.5/10.

I laughed and laughed and laughed.  Not safe for prudes.

I saw the Hitcher over the weekend.  I was dragged to it and I didn't pay.  I don't think I need to give any sort of Eagle head ranking.

Nope.  There's a lot more to that movie than the filth.

Oh yeah?  Name 3 facets of the film, outside of the "filth", that pushed it to a 8.5 on the Dio scale.

1. it gave an insider perspective of what amounts to a comedians guild, something I would never get to see without such a movie.
2. it's a study in how to tell a joke.
3. it was an oral history lesson on the business of comedy..from early vaudeville to modern day sell out stand up
4. it pulled the curtain on people like Bob Saget, showing them to be actually funny despite the un-funny paying gigs we know them best for..
5.  it made me laugh and laugh and laugh.

So yeah, I enjoyed it.
