yeah, i can see that.  it's weird, because there were points of the movie where i was ready to go that way too, but the end saved it for me.

another one I saw and forgot to mention

National Treasure - i really liked it, it was a cool mix of history and a smart movie
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

i think the first five minutes of super troopers is one of the funniest starts to any movie.

and speaking of un-PC movies, I watched Jesus is Magic the other night.  I laughed a ton more than i expected.  i always knew she was dirty but there were a couple parts where i was even ashamed i was laughing.  anyway, i loved it, actually watched it twice over he weekend.  i've always wanted to nail her, but after watching her filthiness, she goes up even more on my list.

also watched 1984 the other day.  meh.  doesn't do the book justice.

I was raped by a doctor. Which is so bittersweet for a Jewish girl.

Watched The Matador last night. It won't win any awards but it was a good watch. Certainly entertaining and it had a mildly interesting twist to end the film. I'd give it 3/5.

Saw Clerks 2 this afternoon.

First 30 minutes: god awful.

Last 60 minutes: good to very good.

I never saw the first one.

Worth a rental if you have ever had a "clerk" job.  Still one of Smiths finest works.

I saw Dogma.  It was alright.  Didn't make me want to go back to find Clerks.

watch Clerks if you don't mind a movie based entirely on tremendous back and forth dialogue.  if you want plot, character development, good acting, etc... don't bother.  but for me, the dialogue in Clerks makes it worth it.

Couldn't agree more.  I was mildly annoyed the second one was not black and white.
