Anyone seen a good movie lately?

Watched Hustle & Flow last night.



Terrance Howard was very good. It was entertaining and kept me interested but I thought some of the parts were cheesy and I didn't like how it ended. Howards acting was what got it 3

You didn't like it? Which summer movie was better?

Whether or not you agree that "Superman Returns" or especially "X-Men: The Last Stand" is better (I think X-Men edges Superman slightly), it's still absolutely preposterous to rate "Dead Man's Chest" 4 's.  That would pretty much mean you'd have to rate "Curse of the Black Pearl" 8 1/2 out of 5 by comparison.

I rate the summer movies like this:
Pirates
X-Men
Superman
Da Vinci Code

Black Pearl was a better movie but I though this was an excellent sequel that exceeded my expectations. Was 4/5 too much? Probably so, so I'll revise my review and go 3/3.5 out of 5.

His comeback could be something about Hugh Jackman shirtless or Brandon Routh in tights, though.

I'm not a massive over-fan of Romijn or Bosworth, but that's ridiculous.  Did you see the video from the premiere?  Knightley desperately needs to eat about 50 sandwiches just to have A-cup boobies.  She probably weighs no more than 90 lbs right now.  She basically looks like a starving boy.  No thanks.

Find Me Guilty    average flick, nice to see Vin Deisel in a little different type of roll.  It's No 12 Angry Men.   

Yeah, I'll go ahead and give it .  I thought it was quite entertaining all-around.

P.S.  I thought the dwarfish actor that played Ben Klandis (Peter Dinklage) was great, but I was curious as to whether or not Klandis was/is a small person in real life, or if they took politically-correct liberties with the casting...

Superman Returns was excellent. Somehow they made that campy outlandish plot line work. That is what Superman is all about.

Its all a matter of opinion though I will admit Keira looks like shtein lately and desperatly needs to gain some weight. [Captain Obvious rant] The original Superman was on HBO this morning - and aside from the completely ridiculous and crappy part where he spins the Earth backwards to save Lois Lane - that movie is far better than Superman Returns which I did like. [/Captain Obvious rant]

She's way hotter as a blonde.


As for the other two... eh.  Both are cute but Keira Knightley is a bit too narrow for me and Romijn, although very hot, isn't that great.

If I had to judge, I'd say:
