Grandma's Boy - very disjointed, but some decent laughs, especially if you like video games and/or weed

:cfhead :cfhead 3/4 out of 5

I love that movie, it is so stupid it is hilarious, I definately agree about the video games and/or weed part.

is there a movie you won't watch?

Seriously. I am starting to become curious about the movie-watching decision-making process in the fastfreddie household... Maybe he intentionally rents movies that will bore them so that they can bone.

My guess is that the plan backfires more often than not.

Chappelles Block Party - i can't rate it because i split a case of beer with my buddy and was trashed when we put it in last night. Had some classic Chappelle lines, a ton of good hip hop acts, minus Kanye (can't stand his face).  So yea it was pretty cool.

I'd much rather watch a stupid 90-minute movie than a boring 3-hour movie.  Grandma's Boy > King Kong

The World's Fastest Indian -   :cfhead :cfhead :cfhead :cfhead -  excellent "feel good" movie.

Watched it last night. Very well done, but I think there's something missing. Still, I enjoyed it.

rent Repulsion next.

Watched it last night. It was really good. My only wish is that I had seen it before The Tenant. Polanski is really good at using confined spaces to create tension, but after seeing The Tenant, Rosemary's Baby and Death and the Maiden, watching another Polanski movie where the main character spends most of her time in one room/apartment is a little repetative. Still, 4/5.

Oh yeah, I also watched the Sara Silverman written/starred-in/directed movie Jesus Is Magic. I laughed a lot and I really want to violate her. 3/5.

Stay - a huge mind-farg of a movie and i really enjoyed feeling completly confused. mixed with some awesome effects and cinema photography.  i don't know what the farg the conclusion is...id prob have to watch it 2 more times. anybody see it? thoughts? ill give it 4/5.  :yay :yay

A Night in The Life of Jimmy Rearden - old River Phoenix flick. 3/5  :yay

Weird Science - 3/5 Classic 80's movie. There were so many just wrongs moments in this movie. I mean a 23 yr old chick who makes out and tries to farg 15 yr old boy? Try getting away with that today.  That alone made the movie awesome.   :yay

Excellent synopsis.  Could've done without the musical numbers for the most part, but she looked hot in a couple of them.  Either way, she's certainly begging for it.
