they definitely got better throughout the movie, but i had a bad feeling in the first ten minutes that it was going to completely suck.  dudes eyes creep me out.

the movie itself ranged from:

(the plane scenes) im only watching this to see how it ends

to

(off the plane scenes) what a farging horrible ending

The Squid and the Whale- Jeff Daniels was great, the rest was ok.  A bit overrated from all the raving reviews I thought.

Definitely curious about the Squid and the Whale.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

never heard of it...

red eye, was horrible. don't kid yourself. it was just the chick and the chub in your pants that made it decent.

it wasn't horrible, i've seen much worse in the past few months alone.  granted, yes she is hot and the fact that she might fall and have her boobs fall out was there, but i enjoyed it.  and i didn't think the ending was that awful.  predictable, yes, i knew exactly what was going to happen, but i still liked it.  i think having a horror movie guy direct it helped a lot.

The main thing I can say about "Red Eye" is that it was a quick hitter (under 90 minutes), so it didn't waste time.

The movie was no better than average overall.

this has been a horrible past year for movies period.
