Brown Bunny-  worst movie ever
Layer Cake- Pretty good.  reminded me of lock stock a little bit.  must be the accents.
Alexander-  I enjoyed it as an action flick.  A bit long and annoying, sure, but not as bad as everyone claimed.
Kung Fu Hustle- awesome movie.

Yeti

Sin City was great visually.  Story was a little hard to follow.  But it was cool the way the stories were almost self contained.

Now I now why rjs246 obsesses over Jessica Alba.  Damn.  Watching her dance made me feel funny in my pants.

Cool.  I have it out on Netflix, but need a chance to watch it when the wife's not around.  She has no interest in it.

I'll second Kung Fu Hustle being awesome. The ladyfriend enjoyed it too.

The Jacket - the concept wasn't too original, but enjoyed how they pulled off the movie with visuals and good acting.  def worth the rent

Alexander - other than ass-kicking wars scenes, the movie drug on and i found myself hating colin farrell and his little homo friend jared leto along with it.  its just a bad movie.  has homo shtein in it too.

kung-fu hustle - was good and def worth the rent.  i was laughing alot during it.  the fight scenes were out of control

Just admit the "homo shtein" was the only part you actually liked.  We all can read through your homophobia.

Just watched 'After The Sunset'.

Extremely predictable and far-fetched, and Woody Harrelson was annoying.  Story line was pretty weak, and Pierce Brosnon looked like the old man that he is.

But Salma spent many scenes in a bikini or underwear.

I watched it twice.   :paranoid
The drawback to marital longevity is your wife always knows when you're really interested in her and when you're just trying to bury it.

Just watched sideways. It was mildly amusing I suppose, but I wouldn't recomend it. Thomas Haden Church didn't overly impress me in the movie either, but it was certainly a step up from Wngs.  I thought Paul Giamatti's charecter was the more convincing of the two.

I saw that about two weeks ago.  It put me to sleep.

Sideways was meant to be enjoyed by old men going through their mid-life crisises. I recognized that it was good, I just couldn't relate and didn't care.

I haven't seen it, but that's disappointing.  Buffalo 66 is one my favorite movies ever.  I was hoping all the bad reviews were just a bunch of nonsense.

MURP

well its just my opinion Laddy.  You may like it.   I never saw Buffalo 66 so I cant compare.
I just dont care to look at Brown Bunny as art, which most of the people who defend it, think.    Yeah, I get that it's a "different" type of flick that isnt Hollywood stuff, but I could have made the movie by myself.  with a home camcorder.  and that, is lame.   ;)
