saw Hotel Rwanda on saturday. i liked it.

saw it last night, a very good movie.  really opens your eyes to what happened over there and raises questions about why we or somebody didn't get involved before a million people were slaughtered.   :'(

Two words - No Oil.

:-D cause i said the same thing to my girlfriend last night, because they have no natural resources that we can profit off of.  I hate to think this is true.  ::)
In the documentary in special features, of the DVD, they went back to Rwanda and the people there said the French army was there, and they helped the Rwandan Rebels kill and bury alot of people?  How can a country like France get away with that in todays world?? I was so pissed after watching that, Im interested to look up the french involvement.  I know they have there dirty hands in on the ivory coast conflict, farg the french.  Those involved with the rwandan genocide should be tried as war criminals if thats true.   :boom :boom :boom :boom :boom

I watched Envy last night, with Ben Stiller and Jack Black.  I thought it was decent enough, and I laughed through a good part of it.

But the real reason I listed this was because Ben Stiller was in it.  I started thinking, "Goddam... this guy has been in every movie made the last few years!"

So -- trivia question:  How many movies (not TV stuff) has Ben Stiller been in starting in 2000?  Include voices for animated stuff and all.

Crier of the week: Terrorists of all backgrounds. Tantrums are selfish acts by children; extortion and murder disguised as fervor for a cause are both selfish and just plain evil. "We're gonna blow up things and kill people until we get our way!" There's a convincing argument, huh?

Anyone see Kung Fu Hustle yet?  I'd love to get out and see it, but with two kids and an uninterested spouse, it's gonna be tough :-\

Look a couple posts above your question.

Just saw Closer. Hated it. If there's going to be a movie centered around the awful things that people do to hurt each other there had better be gunplay, explosions, titties or exploding titties to distract me.

Plus Natalie Portman is hot, but I still see a 15 year old when I see her on screen. Portman as a stripper was retarded since I didn't get to spy her cheerio.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

They made it look like Clive Owen did, though.  Bastiches.

Watched "Hotel Rwanda" tonight.

Extremely moving film. Powerful as hell.

I watched Closer last week. What a farged up movie. They called that a "modern love story"? What kind of farged up love story is that? Two dysfunctional couples that lie to each other, cheat on each other, sleep with each other.... yeah, that's a great love story.

More like Beautiful Girls, but really, she still looks exactly the same as she did in the professional too so the difference is minimal.
