i watched the Clone Wars v1 Last night. it was actually pretty good.

The last 15-20 minutes of that movie were insane.

I saw Kung Fu Hustle. I expected it to be hilarious but I was disappointed. There was one part that almost made me wet my pants, but other than that the whole movie wasn't that funny. The movie itself was good, but it isn't a complete Kung Fu spoof. It has a lot of real action scenes, but it just exaggerates a lot. It's more of a silly Kung Fu movie than a spoof. If you go in not thinking it's going to be hilarious you will probably enjoy it. I enjoyed it, just a little disappointed based on my expectations.

Next movie: Kingdom of Heaven, I see movies maybe once every couple months.

I rented "I Heart Huckabees" and tried to watch it Friday night. Horrible.

I actually really liked that movie....but you have to be in a mood to watch it. It reminded me of Eternal Sunshine in some ways.

Yeah, I was surprised that it wasn't more funny, but it was quite good. I especially liked that they didn't completely close out what happened with Sandler/Leoni's characters. They certainly hinted that they'd be OK, but there was no need to settle the story, because it wasn't ABOUT them. Good flick.

After years of people telling how funny "This Is Spinal Tap" is, I rented it over the weekend.

I guess. At least Eternal Sunshine made me think a little about what was happening. This one was more about listening to peopel drone on and on about philosophical claptrap. Maybe I missed the best parts, either because I nodded off, or because I stopped the thing 3/4 of the way through.
