Boyhood was pretty good. Its really liberal. Favorite character was the first stepdad. That guys my idol. It runs almost 3 hours long.

Watching Glory on TCM, what a great movie.  I am still shocked it was not nominated for best picture in 1990.  Tough competition that year:

Driving Miss Daisy - Winner
Born on the Fourth of July
Field of Dreams
Dead Poets Society

Great acting, great story.  It did win three academy awards:

Best supporting actor - Denzel Washington
Best Cinematography
Best Sound

Any good? Started watching it last weekend but fell asleep. Don't know if I can buy Depp in that role for some reason.
