it follows - brilliantly done...my all time favorite horror movie and top 10 movie period is Halloween and this was such an homage to it....I had a problem with the pool scene but otherwise the best horror  movie ive seen in a long time...which honestly isn't saying a ton

7.5/10

The hunting ground - basically a companion piece to Kirby dicks excellent doc from a few years ago on the rape culture in the military...this one in the campus especially culture and equally as maddening....what the farg is wrong with so many men...I actually liked this one s little better

9/10

Also I still need to see the last part but ken burns new cancer doc has knocked it out the park thus far....lots of I didn't know that stuff which is always a great sign for s documentary....one thing in particular that floored me was the fact that no one really smoked in this country until WWI

Zanshin

Going Clear on HBO was pretty good. Essentially a truncated version of the book, but with interviews of the author of the book. The book was more detailed and cohesive, but the documentary certainly gave this flavor of the overall insanity of it all.

I might be corrected by one of the Star Wars superfans on this site, but my understanding is that it's just the Blu-Ray versions now downloadable on iTunes, Amazon, etc.

I haven't watched any Star Wars since I was a kid and forget most of it to be honest. I'd like to spend some weekend watching the "best" version available of all of them (or at least the best version I can pirate from somewhere), so if a superfan can give opinions on that, I'd appreciate it. Seems like Lucas has released 10 farging versions of the original trilogy.

SD

QB is right the HD download is another way to milk the cash cow. They used to play them on HD channels like tnt and tbs almost weekly but I haven't seen them in a while. I only have the standard dvd but my old room mate had the Blu Rays and they're excellent quality. There was a rumor Disney was going to release the unaltered original versions on blu ray. So no lame cgi of greedo shooting Han. I'd probably wait for those versions if you're patient. It'll never happen but I hope once Lucas croaks they redo the prequels.

Tosh did a "can you spot the billionaire" segment on his show a few weeks ago:

Great trailer, much better than the last one.

SunMo

yeah, based on what abrams did with his two star trek movies i think this one is going to be a monster.
