that's like calling the next Superman movie "The Man of Steel" and not knowing what it's about

If a movie came out titled The Man of Steel, I would assume it's an unauthorized biography about me.  Most people would think that actually.

Not knowing Dark Knight is one thing.  Carrying on like no one else but comicon losers could possibly know it either is vigy's stock in trade.  Deliberatly crafted antagonism based on him being ignant.  If I don't know it, it's stupid secret code, blah blah.

I need to see Batman Begins.

id slit my throat before i read a comic book but ive seen every batman movie and never heard of the dark knight....tho admittedly im not a big comic book movie guy so i dont pay attention to the background stuff

The Watchmen (and arguably anything that Alan Moore wrote) is some great farging shtein.  Belittling comic books because they have pictures is horribly unfair.

i never suggested no one else knew but comic nerds (even tho thats primarily who does know it)...i said theres no way it compares to the phrase "man of steel"

say man of steel and 99% of people in the country will immediately say superman...say dark knight and most people are thinking sean connery in king arthur or some shtein like that

i am legend actually has a pretty good rating right now on rotten tomatoes. at first i wanted to just wait to download the prologue but looks like it might be worth it to go see it in IMAX. in regular theaters if you go watch i am legend, you get the regular trailer for the dark knight.

if you go to IMAX you get the dark knight prologue.

so, i waited too long and tickets are sold out for the IMAX showing of Legeng tonight, so i guess i'll just go to the regular theater and deal with seeing a regular trailer for The Dark Knight (THAT'S BATMAN, GET IT, LOL, j/k!).  if anybody gets a line on the actual extended prologue for The Dark Knight, post a link so I can see it.

Legend isn't doing real great with the critics, right now RT has it at 58%.

id say 58% is right about what it is...id rate it about a 6/10...it was an ok movie that could have and should have been a classic
