Aside from a couple of funny parts the rest of the movie was really bad. They should have made it black and white and kept the dialogue and storyline more like the first one.

Just curious....are you one of those guys that complains when a band's sound changes over the years?

The same thing over and over again gets boring.

That being said, I didn't like Clerks 2 either. But I didn't expect it to be that good, at least not as good as the first, let alone just like it.

The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou- It's been sitting on my computer for months, just never got around to watching it. Another movie that I came close to turning off 30 minutes in that I turned out loving. Perhaps I have just enough of an attention span. Bill Murray is awsome.

That being said, I didn't like Clerks 2 either. But I didn't expect it to be that good, at least not as good as the first, let alone just like it.

Change is fine, but when it comes in the form of homosexual donkey jokes and a dumb love story it's not funny. The first one was so good because it was based on a clever dialogue based on every day conversations added with some humor that involved being a convenience store clerk. Add into it the fact that  he was hung up on a girl but had a girlfriend and was depressed because of the way his life was going and most of us could somewhat relate. I couldn't relate to Clerks 2, Kevin Smith tried to hard and while there were some funny parts it just wound up being stupid. Change is only good when you don't change what was originally right for no reason.

Spke lee's first non-polictical move ever. Very good, very engrossing, good characters 3.5 eagles heads.

Watched diary of a political tourist. It was a quircky look behind the seens of the democtatic primaries. Good thing to see no matter which side of the political fence youre on.

There has been exactly one Clive Owen movie that I liked, and I didn't really like his part in it. Closer sucked. Derailed sucked. Sin City was awesome but he was meh. I think you guys spend too much time watching movies with girls.
