Anyone seen a good movie lately?

agreed...im surprised at all ther abuse that movie takes....i thought it was very good...i like how it wasnt a straight up goofy comedy...it basically turned into a dramady by the end...and the non conventional not cheesy ending was great too

have you seen it?  for a 'romantic comedy', it definitely appeals to dudes just as much if not more than girls.  vince vaughn does a really good job.  and i agree the ending was definitely a plus.

I saw it. It sucked. Actually, it didn't even suck. It just didn't even register. Nothing about it was good. Nothing about it was bad. It was an empty 2 hours where I didn't laugh once and didn't see any titties and nothing blew up or got shot. That's great that it didn't have the standard 'hey look we got back together and now all the girls in the audience will be happy' ending, but it didn't save it from being a useless movie.

they even included the 'get arrested for what, being awesome? line from old school.

Exactly. They're recycling jokes. Which is a sure sign of an awful movie.

I sort of chuckled at Jon Favreau's idiotic character but that's it. I also sort of laughed at the top of Jennifer Aniston's ass crack because that scene was the least sexy thing I've ever seen.

The Prestige 

Not bad, pulled you in different directions and kept things interesting. Decent acting, Scarlett Johanson in a tight corset top is almost worth the price of admission.

The Perfect Storm.

I for one ask death that I not go the route of dying in the ocean.

The 'Gloucestermen' as they were called have balls of titanium.

It was an entertaining movie, it had suspense and I am thankful I do not live in the northeast and have to be a fisherman.

Also, those rescue fargers that jump into the ocean are badasses as well.

3.5 out of 5 for entertainment, shark, and fat chick.

I rewatched American Beauty this weekend and was reminded of how ungodly good it is. Everyone in it is amazing. I'm not a middle aged man so it is a rather depressing snapshot of suburban, 9 to 5 middle aged life. but I would imagine that for middle aged men it struck a very powerful chord.

Uma Thurman is so hot, I don't care what anyone says. The movie was nothing but mediocre, but it was nice looking at Uma. It is more of a chick flick than anything else though. If you are into those for whatever reason then you might dig it. I don't like them much so I give it a C-/10.

Great movie. Saw it in the theatre. Def. one to buy for the collection
