Saw the 1967 version of Casino Royale last night. Whoever made that movie must have been on one heck of an acid trip.

Moneypenny was hot, until I remembered that she'd be around 65-70 now.

Bizarre, hard to follow but fairly entertaining.   :cfhead :cfhead :cfhead

"A Prairie Home Companion"

Are Robert Altman films just reviewed well because of his reputation?  The worst part about this non-entertaining movie was that the subtle humor wasn't subtle and wasn't funny.  The best part about the movie is the music, and that wasn't the reason anyone would watch it anyway.  I now appreciate "Gosford Park" more after seeing a not-even-as-good Altman film.  This movie sucked.

1.5/5.

For some reason I have been the only big sports fan who had never watched Slap Shot.  I just watched it a few nights ago and realize why it's considered a classic.  Great movie.

"American Dreamz":  Worse than meh.  Skip at all costs.  0.5/5

My kids had me rent that on Saturday & it was one of the worst movies I ever saw.  When a 9-year old girl says that's the worst she's seen, it's a bad movie.

If anyone is ever aware of a copy of it being in the room, avoid direct eye contact with the movie case. Using something reflective, sneak up on it with lighter fluid & make the world a better place.

Bully is a pretty good movie.  The T&A is what drew me in, but the story kept me with it.  It was much better than I expected it to be.
The drawback to marital longevity is your wife always knows when you're really interested in her and when you're just trying to bury it.

That movie gets worse as it goes on. Don't get too excited.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

Saw Walk the Line over the weekend.  Probably the last one to see it, but there you go.

It was good, but wasn't as good as I expected.  The acting was great, but I thought they sort of glossed over some interesting stuff to give more room for the love story I was only marginally interested in.  That's overstating it, because it was certainly a worthwhile movie.

i know i've seen bully but i don't remember anything about it.

Nope.  Still haven't seen it.  Or Titanic.  And I never will see Titanic.  :D

Zanshin

I never saw Titanic...and have zero interest.  Walk the Line was pretty good, though.

phattymatty

i'm also on the never saw titanic list.
