Probably wasn't rushing out to the theaters to see Creed any time soon but was definitely looking forward to seeing it on cable. They did a great job with the trailers. Stinks it's that bad. Is it worse than Rocky 5?

It's getting excellent reviews.  Variety and hit fix talked about it being in best picture conversation.  Obviously I haven't seen it to give an opinion but it's doing well critically.

PhillyPhreak54

Yeah I just read some reviews too

I was planning on seeing it next Friday

And thanks for not giving the whole movie away like lil guy and his draft tipping dick moves

the Prince of Pennsylvania 30 for 30 was really good, but sad.  the Leonard Tose one was great.

Jurassic World - good

Terminator Genysis - awful

The Hustler - great (never saw it before)

I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

Watched the Tose one last night, and then the Vermeil Football Life. Both very good pieces.

SunMo

I didn't care for the vermeil one because it didn't really shed any new information.

I'm guessing you're talking about the Paul Newman/Jackie Gleason movie, right?  And yes, it's awesome.

news events and pieces of entertainment are not the same

you dont know a ton of things but you must know this
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

It kind of filled in a few missing pieces for me. I knew about the burnout, but I didn't understand why. It makes more sense now.

Creed is getting really good reviews and is even rated high on rottentomatoes. Usually they're good at citing clunkers but it's at 88%.

Philly.com says it's fantastic

movie reviewers are super communist liberals...as is philly.com (plus its a philly movie)

my heart seeped blood numerous times during the movie...but you cant let it blind your judgement...I fear most critics have let it do just that

mystic river: top ten all time overrated movie?
