watched "Saw" the other night.

Pretty creepy and gory movie...great ending. Totally farged up...lol.

i "enjoyed" saw when i viewed in the theater.

the best/worst part was when the chick from Becker had that her jaw clamped shut with that bear trap-esque thing. and had to go digging for the key

I could barely watch it. Her boyfriend was ALIVE too when she did it. That was just plain farged up. The killer in this movie was just the smartest serial killer ever. The guy who wrote the movie is plain sicko...lol

it wasnt ever meant to be more than a student film i beleive. the writers were trying to think of a movie to write that took place in one room. they had a friend of a friend of danny glover, who loved the script, and then the rest is history.

*spoiler below

i loved how it ended with Jigsaw walking away still not having to have actually killed someone himself.

Not the smartest or best written psycho killer ever.  That honor still remains with Silence of the Lambs.  No one is or has ever been spookier than Hannibel Lechter.

true, if you take silence of the lambs by itself. but they did something to absoluty tarnish the legacy of that movie. Hannibal.

hannibal was atrocious. i blame julieanne more.

red dragon was better than hannibal. but not the orginal manhunter.

lol, everytime I hear "manhunter' i laugh thinking about William Peterson in that movie.   I just wanted him to get his ass kicked bad in that one.   I agree though, manhunter is better than either of the two Lambs sequels.

We enjoyed "The Forgotten" last night.  The director's cut (alternate ending) explains it more, but isn't necessarily better.

Anyway, it was kind of cool to have a story end with something besides a split-personality.

Probably the worst movie I've seen in the last 3 years.

Hollywood owes me at least $347 for the time I sepnt watching it and the time it will take to try and forget that I spent time watching it.

I'm seriously trying to think of a movie that I spent money to see over the past few years taht was worse than The Forgotten and I'm not coming up with anything. Terrible dialogue, disjointed storyline, cheesy melodramatic acting, ugh, I'm getting angry just thinking about it.

Wow, you're lucky to have avoided some of the hot garbage I've seen then.

I just watched "The Forgotten." I don't know what your issue was, rjs, but it really wasn't bad.

The Motorcycle Diaries was a great flick.    It's not often a movie affects the way you think afterwards.... this one did for myself.

I rented that, but nobody wanted to watch it with the subtitles and all. Majority ruled, and I turned it back in for something else (I have the movie pass at Blockbuster).

We watched "The Manchurian Candidate" and "Collateral." Both pretty decent. Also went to see "Hitch" at the theatre. Also surprisingly okay.

I think the wife and I just liked it because it was finally a suspense movie that actually had a SUPERNATURAL ending, instead of the usual split-personality or plot twist ending.  Sadly, that's actually different and unexpected these days.

I enjoyed the Forgotten.  I tell people if they like the XFiles show they will probably enjoy the Forgotten.  If they didnt like Xfiles they probably would like it.

I just finished Tae Guk Gi: The Brotherhood of War.  Good flick.  Kinda like a Korean War saving Private Ryan.   Very disturbing, gory, emotional,  etc.
