it is literally impossible to watch even a preview of scarface without laughing out loud at pacino....has scenery ever been chewed harder than him in that movie

It's definitely one of the most overrated movies ever. But I still love it.

This is the truth.  Scarface had horrible reviews, and was considered an over the top joke of a movie.  It only reached "Overrated" status by people who thought they could be Tony Montana.

actually i was reading a bunch of old reviews from when it came out thinking they might not be that good and they are a lot better than youd think.....the new york times loved it....ebert gave it 4/4 stars

its when you read newer reviews where they become mostly negative

which makes sense because the movie has clearly not aged well

It really hasn't.  I think this is one of those movies that if you saw it back in the day and liked it, you can watch it today and still like it.  But I think anyone today who watches it for the 1st time would think it's flat out terrible.

This is the End was hilarious... little long but hilarious.  Cera was incredible.
