"What the hell is up with that "bro" shtein anyway? What are you trying to be Super Spade or something?"
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

Gran Torino was Clint's acting finale.  The movie itself was pretty much paint by numbers, but as a bookend to his spaghetti western/Dirty Harry career, it worked.
It was fun to see Clint go out as Clint.

Now if you want to see a totally farged up, mostly un-Clint movie, go catch the Beguiled.  Yikes.

video games?

how old are you 12?

Right, because only 12-year-olds play video games, obviously. I'll be 13 later in the month, btw. I expect at least a card from you now.

IGY is literally the only person I've 'spoken to' who didn't like the Bill Murray part of Zombieland. His tastes in comedy are just atrocious.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

SunMo

watched Creepshow this weekend for the first time since I was a kid.

Stephen King with George Romero directing....quality shtein.

I thought the Bill Murray cameo in that movie was amazing.  Absolutely hilarious.

Zombieland was a decent mainstream flick, but adding Murray was the best part

Alice In Wonderland - whole movie dragged because the story just isn't there although they somehow do a decent job of tying it up in the end. Probably would have been a better idea to re-do the original rather than going with a sequel.

SunMo

started watching Kick-Ass last night and fell asleep.  the movie has great farging potential and there are a few moments of bust out laughter, but otherwise it's slow and not so funny.  hopefully, i'll finish it today, but i'm not re-arranging my schedule to make it happen.

The Mist

Story wasn't all that creative but I'll give this movie at least 8 of 10 due to the fact that they did a phenomenal job of portraying the human element in an apocolyptic situation. The religious freak, the fear, survival, etc., hands down one of the best movies to really bring to out the best and worst in people in a life or death situation.

The rest of the movie is pretty blah...but if you haven't had anyone to hate in a while...i recommend this one. Remember...the story is not too creative...but the value is in watching what the folk do in this situation.
I said watch the game and you will see my spirit manifest.-ILLEAGLE 02/04/05

I said this when it first came out.  During the ending, I actually blurted out loud in the theater, "You can't do that!"
Too bad the rest of the movie wasn't as interesting.  Pretty paint by numbers monster flick.

Genuinely shocked The Other Guys is getting 80% on rottentomatoes right now.

SunMo

i'm not, that looks like it has Anchorman/Step Brothers potential

I thought Step Brothers sucked but Anchorman was hilarious.
