his movies don't have to be good in a conventional sense because he doesn't make conventional movies. he has his own style and does his own thing. if you like it you like if you don't you don't. i respect that more than anyone trying to conform to hollywood/advertising ways.

i respect great movies

ill take a great conventional movie over a "daring" zesty movie*

*- not that i think tarantino movies are zesty in the least

resovoir dogs - five star general
pulp - all time classic
jackie brown - garbage
kill bill - good but obviously way to long movie
death proof - hot 40 shteins

i respect great movies that were made in the last 20 years which don't try to be original in any way. oh, and angel heart.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

500 days of summer - just an outstanding romantic dramedy...its plays out of order with the start of each scene showing what day out of the 500 days they were together it is...contains none of the awful cliches you find so much in this genre...you know from the opening scene that they will not end up together and that makes the movie frustrating in a great way...its amazing how its so well done that even tho you know the ending you find yourself still rooting for gordon joseph levitts character to end up with the girl and you feel like even tho its against everything you know that it still might happen...btw he is such an great underrated actor

8.5/10

We went and saw this tonight and I agree. Part of the reason we checked this out was of your review and I agree with your re-cap.

Did any of y'all see the trailer for 2012? That looks interesting as well.

When we were walking out I stepped on some chick's wallet left on the floor. I picked it up and walked out in the hall and tried to find the girl. We found her walking down the ramp and I gave it back. She was smoking hot and from Georgia...flying back home tomorrow and wouldn't have been able to if she lost her ID. She had big tits and gave me a hug for giving her wallet back....I wanted to propose she come back to the house for some three-some action.

Inglorious Basterds - 9/10

Very good flick. It was about 2:30 long but it felt as if it flew by because I was so into it. Pitt was good as was the supporting cast. Some characters you root for and others you loathe...solid, solid movie

i thought igy explicitly said not to see that

Also saw it and it really was an excellent movie.

Trying to decide whether to MDS the Bear Jew for the irony or the little man jew for the reality.
