Anyone seen a good movie lately?

Just from the previews it looked like a 1 out of 10. After seeing it, it was maybe 1.000001 out of 10...

it was better than i thought it would be, i give it that. was it great? no. but outside of beating hummus and soda jokes to death, there were some pretty funny parts in it.

freddie is probably going to kill you guys for ripping it though so congrats on signing your own death warrants. nice knowing you guys.

what you just said...its just funny...not 'hilarious' or 'ridiculously funny'...to use more recent comedies its better than crap like 40 year old virgin or pineapple express but nowhere near a wedding crashers or superbad

it has a good amount of LOL lines...but it also has a lot of total misses...it was weird in that it didnt really have a single great scene...something that will really hurt its replay value...again had some good lines thruout but nothing drop dead funny...it also lacked a stand out character like a vince vaughn in wedding crashers...they tried to get there with the greek guy but didnt quite make it

i wouldnt recommend against seeing it in the theater or anything...it was definitely above average and worthy...just not a classic

Actually agree with this completely. The movie was amusing but I wouldn't really go any further than that. It's way below Forgetting Sara Marshall and Superbad in terms of recent comedies in my book, but different people find different material funny so it's impossible to get any sort of consensus about movies like this.

LOL. Superbad was basically me and my buddy in HS, so it's funny for that reason. Old School is a standard for me. Anchorman and Anchorman 2 for that matter

I was supposed to go see hangover on Sunday, I went to the bar at 1130am to pregame. Never made it to the movie, blacked out and fell down a flight of stairs.

The Hangover was farging hilarious. It did lack a true 'rofl' moment, but the overall laughs in it were so good that it really didn't need one to be as hilarious as it was.

It's def up there with Wedding Crashers, Superbad, and Forgetting Sarah Marshall for me. I need to see it a few more times.

Taken- perfect movie to just sit back and watch without analyzing or thinking about. it doesn't try to be smart or funny...it's just exactly what the previews make you think it will be and it does it well.

The Contract. Entertaining movie, for the most part...but the ending was a little nonsensical, which was a downer.
